Cairo Syrupmakers Grab 45-0 Homecoming Victory

The Cairo Syrupmakers continued their football dominance Friday night for Homecoming.

Heading into the matchup, the unbeaten Syrupmakers had outscored their opponents 258-20, including 5 shutout victories.

The 3rd ranked team in Class 3A hails from Cairo, Ga, and they didn't waste any time putting a 45-0 beat down on Westover High School out of Albany, Ga.

Cairo scored first on a goal line run by Brandon McCrary. Then LaQuinton Williams got into the act and scored the 'Makers' second touchdown of the night.

By the end of the night, Williams had 156 yards on 18 carries. By the end of the night, Cairo had pitched yet another shutout and improved to (8-0) on the season.
