The Clinch County Panthers entered their Friday night showdown at Wilkinson County with a (13-0) overall record. The Panthers had only been (13-0) 3 other times in school history (1988, 1991 & 2002). All 3 of those times, the Panthers advanced to the State Championship game.

Clinch County can now add 2010 to the history books after advancing to yet another State Title appearance... Clinch County beat Wilkonson County 35-14 Friday night to improve to (14-0) on the year and set up a Class 1A State Championship Finals matchup with Savannah Christian Prep.

It should be noted, the previous 3 times Clinch reached the State Title game with an undefeated record, the Panthers returned to Homerville, GA with State Championship bragging rights.
