Crossroad Academy Bounced Into Perfect Season

A quick dribble to Gadsden County finds perhaps the most talented middle school basketball team in the Big Bend. Crossroad Academy in Quincy, FL is home to the undefeated Scorpions boys basketball team that completed a (20-0) season and a grabbed ton of accolades.

Their list of championships include tournament titles in Havana, Thomas County and Leon County.

Led by Head Coach Roy Howard, the talented group of 6th through 8th graders bounced into the spotlight and have a bright basketball future.

The best part of their undefeated season isn't merely their individual scoring averages, but rather their cumulative 3.2 grade point average as a team.

Howard is a Tallahassee native who was part of Eli Bryant's coaching staff when Rickards High School won back-to-back State Championships during the 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons.
