The Tallahassee QB Club held their season finale Tuesday night at the University Center Club. The main event for the grand finale was former FSU star quarterback Danny Kanell.
Kanell is amicably remembered for leading FSU's "Choke at Doak" comeback against the Florida Gators back in 1994. The Choke at Doak refers to the Gators squandered a huge 4th quarter lead and the Noles storming back to tie the game at 31-31. Back in 1994, there was no overtime rule, so the game--which was dominated for 3 quarters by UF, resulted in a tie.
Kanell's message was all about inspiration and a passion for football. Afterwards he couldn't resist answering a few questions for WCTV. His answers ranged from his thoughts about Jimbo Fisher to his opinion on quarterback Christian Ponder.
