The FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers will not play in the state playoffs after losing to Cottondale in a three team tiebreaker. The Rattlers beat Graceville 14-0 in the first quarter of play to move on to play host Cottondale. The Hornets stung first off a rushing touchdown by Dominique Webb. Cottondale converted the two point conversion to take an 8-0 lead. FAMU responded with a score of their own with Javarious Jones optioning to Dujuan Holton but the two point conversion attempt to Marcus Owens was ruled out of bounds and Cottondale got the win.

I witnessed the worst coaching performance of my life in Cottondale lastnight. A superior group of student athletes with a group of disorganized coaches. Terrible!!!
