Tallahassee, FL - North Florida schools getting a preseason tuneup at Gene Cox Stadium on Thursday night.

Lincoln, Leon and Wakulla participated in a high school football jamboree, each team playing each other at least once and each game lasting two quarters.

In game one, Lincoln faced Leon. The first two points of the game came on a holding penalty on Leon when the Lions were already pushed back at their own four yard line.

Lincoln would lead by two after the first quarter. They would tack on a field goal early in the second to take a 5-0 lead. This game, though, showed the typical preseason jitters. Balls were dropped, snaps were botched and plays were misread.

But there were still plenty of positives. Later in the second quarter, Ronald Butler hooked up with Raphael Andrades for seven more points. Lincoln would win 12-0.

Leon stayed on the field for game two and tried to avoid going oh-fer against Wakulla.

But the War Eagles brought out their best. On the Leon 40 yard line, Marshane Godbolt took the handoff and never looked back. He took in the first score of the game. Wakulla took a seven-nothing lead after the first quarter.

They would add to it in the second quarter when Caleb Stephens lofted a 30 yard pass to Damonte Morris. Wakulla would win 14-0.

Lincoln's the defending Region-5A champs, so they get to sit out for a game and get some rest. But, in the third game, that rest may have hurt them a little bit.

Wakulla feeding off the energy from game two and got on the board first. In the second quarter, Will Thomas powered his way for 12 yards into the endzone to put the War Eagles up 7-0.

But on the ensuing kickoff, Reggie Davis brings it all the way back for more than 80 yards. Lincoln would miss the extra point, giving Wakulla the 7-6 edge.

The War Eagles would tack on one more touchdown and win 14-6.
