One win separates Lincoln from making it's 4th trip to the FHSAA finals.
Lincoln head football coach Yusuf Shakir says,
"I think we're getting hot and we're playing good at the right time and I think we had a great week of practice."
Standing in the Trojans way are the Hurricanes of Gainesville high.
Yusuf Shakir adds,
"I'm excited about the opportunity to play and an opportunity to go out and represent Lincoln High School."
Both teams are coming off nail biting region final wins as it took three overtimes for Lincoln to knock off Navarre while Gainsville sneaked by Lake Gibson 10-9.
Shakir adds,
"Well, we just focus on this game right here. We're not focusing on the next game. We're just trying to go (1-0). It's been our goal every week this year, to go (1-0), focus at this point and this time and continue to go (1-) and everything else will take care of itself."
