Orlando, FL (AP) - Tallahassee North Florida Christian scored
on 10 of 11 possessions to defeat St. Petersburg Admiral Farragut
69-0 in the Class 2A Florida high school football championship.
Friday's 69 point margin of victory is the largest in state
history.
North Florida Christian quarterback Matt Dobson completed 7-of-9
passes for 200 yards and three touchdowns. Dobson also rushed for
82 yards and another touchdown.
The Eagles outgained the Bluejackets 467-121. Sophomore Jonathan Vickers rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns. Fullback Warren Hart also had two touchdowns.
North Florida Christian (14-0) led at halftime 48-0. They are
the third team to score 69 or more points in a state championship
game. Miami Southridge defeated Bradenton Manatee 69-36 in 1993 and Venice defeated Dwyer 77-14 in 2000.

The North Florida Christian football team concluded its first undefeated season in school history with a 69-0 win.
The Eagles capped their perfect season with a shutout over Admiral Farragut Academy to win Florida's 2A State Championship.
This is the Eagles seventh state championship title and the first under head coach Robert Craft.
