The day had finally come for Thomas County Central's Ray Drew... After months of searching for that right fit... Drew announced in front of friends and family his new home away from home.

"Through out all the War Eagles, and the Go Tigers, Throwing up the U of Miami, none compared to the words that says it all.... go Dawgs!"

But Drew's decision didn't solely focus on the what he could do between the lines, but also where his strong faith could flourish, and his influence could make an impact.

"His Character is what makes him unique, hes got the gifts, the 6-4, 250 whatever, all that stuff, just being around him and getting to know him, I mean the kid is unbelievable. I think his talents will speak for themselves, but when you bring character guys like that I think it makes a big difference." adds Former UGA Defensive Lineman, David Pollack.

"I told everybody Ray wasn't going to go somewhere Football wise he was going to go somewhere his relationship can build." says TCCHS Head Coach Bill Shaver.

And the Yellow Jacket lineman made it clear, talent, hard work and most of all faith, with be what brings this Georgia Bulldogs program success.

"Me personally, I believe with the class that we have coming in, and coach Richt being as strong in his faith as he is, you know putting the right people around one another, we may not be the most talented team, not the strongest team, not the fastest team, but the Lord is going to bless us so we can get his message across." adds Drew.
