Big number 99, Ray Drew from Thomas County Central has just become the first Yellow Jacket ever to be named an U.S. Army All-American.

The announcement was made official this afternoon at the high school in front of Drew's family and friends.
The Defensive End is 1 of 90 players nationwide selected to play in this January's Army All-American Bowl out in San Antonio, Texas. A huge honor indeed.

Check out what both Coach Bill Shaver and Ray Drew had to say during today's ceremony on the videos above.

Ray drew is an excellent player, size and Speed. He puts me in the mind of another great Defensive end to come out of Central High School in 1985, who later played for the Philadelphia Eagles. His name was Jessie Small. Watching Ray play is like watching a mirror image of Jessie Small.
