Tallahassee, FL - On Wednesday, February 23rd, seven (7) Raiders from the Rickards High School football team held their official athletic/academic recognition ceremony.

This symbolic signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Gayle, Head Coach Rudy Hubbard, faculty, students, families and friends.

The players are:
Ricky McGhee, football scholarship, Florida A&M University

Jalen Johnson, football and academic scholarship, Miles College

Brian Clark, football scholarship, Union College

Renaldo Stokes, football scholarship, Union College

Reggie Griggs, football scholarship, University of St. Francis

Robert Philpott III, full academic scholarship and preferred walk-on,
Tuskegee University

Jose Cruz-Torres, academic scholarship, Florida State University.

Coach Hubbard indicated that some additional players are expected to sign in the next few weeks. Information has been obtained by Rickards high school booster secretary Lena Kelly.
