Tallahassee, Florida - Its only been a couple of days since the start of summer. But the Rickards football team refuses to take a day off. They're making summer workouts their second home.
It's the only way, players say, the program will change.
"We put a lot of emphasis in our weight program," said Rickards Head Football Coach Rudy Hubbard, who's in his fourth year with the Raiders.
"We're gonna show something this season," lineman Mark Rodriguez said. "It's gonna be a big change. We're gonna show people that this is where it's at, man."
The Raiders went 2-7 last year, but players say the difference this year will be stronger team chemistry.
