Wakulla Flies to Next Round; Godby Falls in State Volleyball Quest

The Wakulla Lady War Eagles defended the homecourt Tuesday night in their Class 4A Regional Quarterfinals Volleyball Match.

Wakulla defeated Booker T. Washington High School out of Pensacola, FL in 5 sets (3-2). With the win, Wakulla advances to the 4A Regional Semifinals-- just 2 wins from a trip to State.

Elsewhere, the Godby Lady Cougars fell on the Class 4A road. Godby traveled to Gulf Breeze and lost in straight sets (10-25), (7-25), (8-25). This is the 3rd time Godby's Volleyball Program has made it to the Regional Rounds of the FHSAA State Volleyball Tournament.

Elsewhere in Tuesday Volleyball action, Altha High traveled to Niceville for a Class 1A Regional Quarterfinal battle with Rocky Bayou Christian. Rocky Bayou won in straight sets, (25-12), (25-18), (25-19).

Sneads won their Class 2A Regional Quarterfinals matchup against Pensacola Christian Tuesday night.

Liberty County 3-0 over Lafayette-Mayo.
