New Details Have Emerged in FSU Student Union Fight

Florida State wide receiver Richard Goodman is still suspended indefinitely for his role in last years student union fight, but his lawyer hopes that will change in the very near future.

Samuel Lopez who represents Goodman told Eyewitness news that, another witness has emerged who has identified a fraternity member as the one that swung the chair that injured a female victim. Lopez also says that witness confirmed that a fraternity member hit Goodman in the face with a trophy.

"We are very optimistic that justice will prevail in this investigation," said Lopez.

Goodman was arrested on May 26th and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon after a witness identified him as the one that swung the chair.

Rob, you need not comment at all because it is clear that you hav no idea what you are talking about. Is it because he is black, that he is a thug? It is sad that this station allows people to leave racist comments. Freedom of speech should not be used as a tool to spread derogatory false statements. Personally, I know he is not a thug. He is identified with evidence that he was attacked but his injuries were ignored and not upheld with an investigation when he requested to press charges. So before you talk get your facts straight

Now isn't this strange, that just before football season, someone wants to clear this "thugs"name. How Ironic !!! This year FSU will need all their lying, cheating, thug athletes to compete in the ACC, and never mind Florida they are in a differentleague, playing at a much higher level.
