Valdosta, GA - Lady Blazer basketball will host a father/daughter basketball clinic, and all are invited.
The clinic will take place Saturday, October 9, at 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. If a father can’t make it, alternatives such as mothers, surrogate fathers or any other family members are welcome.
Lady Blazers will be in attendance with their fathers to meet and give helpful tips on the game of basketball. Participants can expect to improve basketball skills through shooting and dribbling drills as well as other competitions.
There will also be competitions between fathers and daughters. The winner gets bragging rights as the best player in the family.
“We really want this clinic to be a special opportunity that creates memories participants can share for a lifetime,” Head Coach Kiley Hill said. “We hope that a few skills can be picked up, but our true goal is fun. We want basketball to be an avenue to relationship building for girls of all ages.”
Lunch will be provided following the clinic. The cost of the clinic and lunch is $25 per duo. Please RSVP by Monday, October 4 via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or phone (229-333-5892), but walk-ins are welcome. Registration will be from 8:30 – 9 a.m.
Please provide name, email, phone number and address.
