VSU's signing class includes a standout kicker from Colquitt County a ton of local talent for a total of 33 signees.

Here is a list of the 2012 signees:

DONOVAN BOLDEN (WR, 5-9, 170, Folkston, Ga./Charlton County): Played for Head Coach Rich McWhorter and directed the Indians to a 10-2 mark in 2010 ... Caught 37 passes for 545 yards and seven touchdowns ... Also played defensive back and tallied 40 tackles, including three sacks ... Intercepted two passes and blocked a kick ... Earned first team All-Region honors on both offense and defense while also receiving honorable mention all-state ... Directed Charlton County to the second round of the GHSA A playoffs ... Led the Indians to a 9-3 mark and the state playoffs in 2010 after earning honorable mention all-state honors as a sophomore in 2009 ... Also plays basketball and runs track for Charlton County.

ANTHONY BRUMBLEY (LB, 6-1, 180, Moultrie, Ga./Colquitt County): Played for Head Coach Rush Propst ... Led the Packers to an 11-3 mark in 2011 and a spot in the GHSA AAAAA semifinals ... Recorded 84 tackles on the season ... Scooped up three fumble recoveries, one of which was returned for a touchdown ... Also intercepted on pass ... Tallied nine tackles for the Packer team that went 9-6 and played for the state championship in 2010.

STEVON BRUTEN (DT, 6-3, 275, Deland, Fla./Nassua CC): Played for Head Coach Jermaine Miles and directed the Lions squad to an 8-2 record and a Northeast Conference championship in 2010 ... Earned All-Northeast Conference honors while tallying 24 tackles on the year, including 21 solo stops ... Recorded 2.5 tackles for loss, totaling 31 yards in losses, and 1.5 sacks, for 18 yards ... Directed a Lions defense that led the Northeast Conference in scoring defense, passing defense, turnover margin, passing efficiency defense, red-zone defense and sacks while finishing second in total defense ... Started both years at NCC ... Was also a two-year starter and earned all-state honors at Deland High School in 2008.

JAVON CAMERON (WR, 6-0, 170, LaGrange, Ga./LaGrange): Played for Head Coach Donnie Branch and directed the Granger squad to a 4-7 record in 2011 ... Caught 22 passes, including one for a touchdown ... Earned All-Region honors ... Tallied 17 catches for 199 yards and a score while leading LaGrange to a 5-6 mark as a junior ... Led LaGrange to the GHSA AAA playoffs both years ... Also plays baseball for the Grangers.

JAYSON CRUM (LS, 5-10, 175, Valdosta, Ga./Lowndes): Played for Head Coach Randy McPherson ... Directed the Vikings to an 8-4 record and a spot in the GHSA AAAAA playoffs in 2011 ... Played both offensive guard and defensive end while handling the long snapping duties.

JEREMY DANIELS (OL, 6-6, 360, Lakeland, Ga./Lanier County): Started each of the last two seasons for Head Coach Brent Miller ... Directed the Bulldogs to a 6-4 record in 2011 and a 5-5 mark in 2010.

TERRANCE FOSTER (DB, 6-0, 185, Valdosta, Ga./Valdosta): Played for Head Coach Rance Gillespie ... Led the Wildcats to an 8-3 record and a spot in the GHSA AAAAA playoffs in 2011 ... Was named second team All-Region ... Helped Valdosta to an 11-2 mark anda spot in the GHSA AAAAA quarterfinals in 2010.

RASHAD GUYTON (SS, 5-9, 183, Madison, Fla./Madison County): Played for Head Coach Mike Coe ... Directed the Cowboys to a 13-2 record and a spot in the FHSA 3A state championship game in 2011 ... Tallied 108 tackles and two interceptions ... Forced three fumbles while recovering two ... Had 11 tackles for loss and three sacks ... Led the Cowboys to a 12-1 mark and a pot in the state playoffs in 2010 ... Recorded 78 tackles on the seasonw hile recording one interception and one fumble forced.

JONATHAN HESTER (LB, 5-11, 221, Valdosta, Ga./Valdosta): Played for Head Coach Rance Gillespie ... Led the Wildcats to an 8-3 record and a spot in the GHSA AAAAA playoffs in 2011 ... Finished the season with 105 tackles and five sacks while earning all-state and all-region honors ... Was anmed the VMP of the Georgia vs. Florida game ... Led the Wildcats to the Region 1AAAAA championship ... Starred for a Wildcat team that went 11-2 and advanced to the GHSA AAAAA quarterfinals in 2010 ... Also ran track for Valdosta.

D'ARON HILL (FS, 6-1, 185, Suwanee, Ga./Peachtree Ridge): Played for Head Coach Mark Fleetwood ... Led the Lions to an 8-3 record and a spot in the GHSA AAAAA playoffs.

JUWAN JOHNSON (RB, 6-1, 210, Savannah, Ga./Robert W. Groves): Played for Head Coach Greg Hunter and directed the Rebels squad to a 6-4 record in 2011 ... Carried the ball 130 times for 1049 yards and 15 touchdowns ... Also caught four passes for 117 yards and another score ... Made 11 tackles on defense and assisted on a sack while recording one interception ... Earned All-Region honors as a running back ... Carried the ball 11 times for 47 yard while catching seven passes for 266 yards and five touchdowns as a junior while leading Groves to a 6-4 record and the AAAAA state playoffs ... Recorded 27 tackles, including eight for loss and four sacks while recorving two fumbles ... Returned six kickoffs for 126 yards ... Also runs track and plays basketball for the Rebels.

MILTON LAMAR (DT, 5-11, 265, LaGrange, Ga./LaGrange): Played for Head Coach Donnie Branch and directed the Granger squad to a 4-7 record in 2011 ... Recorded 88 total tackles on the year, including 50 solos ... Earned All-Region honors ... Finished with six sacks and 11 tackles for loss ... Led LaGrange to the GHSA AAA playoffs both years ... Also threw the shot put and discus for the LaGrange Track and Field team.

JAMUARI LOVE (FS, 6-1, 175, Molena, Ga./Pike County): Played for Head Coach Brad Webber and directed the Pirates to a 5-5 mark in 2011 ... Recorded 22 tackles and broke up three passes ... Intercepted three passes and forced a fumble while scoring one touchdown on defense ... Also caught 29 passes for 450 yards and a score while carrying the ball 16 times for 169 yards ... Returned one punt for a touchdown ... Earned All-Region honors as both a receiver and a free safety ... Also led Pike County to a 5-5 mark as a junior ... Plays basketball for the Pirates.

OSCAR LUNA (K, 5-7, 180, Moultrie, Ga./Colquitt County): Played for Head Coach Rush Propst ... Led the Packers to an 11-3 record and the GHSA semifinals ... Made 45-of-47 extra points and 16-of-18 field goals ... Connected on a 51-yard field goal, the longest kick in Packer history ... Also set a school record with 93 poitns in 2011 ... Earned All-State and All-Region honors ... Also plays soccer for the Packers.

KEN MURPHY (LB, 6-1, 224, Glennville, Ga./Tattnall County): Played for Head Coach Jeff Kaiser and directed the Warriors squad to a 6-5 record in 2011 ... Finished the year with 105 tackles, including 93 solo stops ... Recorded 11 tackles for loss and two sacks ... Forced six fumbles ... Also played running back and carried the ball 97 times for 639 yards and 12 touchdowns ... Led the Warriors to a 6-5 record and the first round of the GHSA AA Play offs whiel earning 2AA Region Player of the Year honors ... Also was named All-State by the Georgia Sports Writers Association ... Led Tattnall County to a 10-2 mark and the Region 2AA championship in 2010 ... Earned All-State and All-Region honors as a junior.

KALEB NOBLES (QB, 5-11, 180, Fitzgerald, Ga./Fitzgerald): Played for Head Coach Robby Pruitt ... Led the Purple Hurricanes to a 11-2 record and a spot in the GHSA AA quarterfinals in 2011 ... Completed 107-of-162 passes, a 66.0 percent completion rate, for 1,481 yards ... Threw 15 touchdowns against only four interceptions ... Toosed four touchdowns against McIntosh County Academy in the first round of the state playoffs ... Also carried the ball 34 times for 46 yards and three scores.

CEDRIC O'NEAL (RB, 6-0, 187, Dublin, Ga./Dublin): Played for Head Coach Roger Holmes ... Led the Fighting Irish to an 11-2 mark and a spot in the GHSA AA quarterfinals ... Earned All-Region 3AA honors as a sophomore, junior and senior ... named the Heart of Georgia Offensive Player of the Year in both 2010 and 2011 while earning All-State honors in 2011 ... Helped Dublin to a 7-4 mark and the state playoffs in 2010 ... Also plays basketball for the Fighting Irish.

BRANDON PADEN (WR, 6-0, 178, Leesburg, Ga./Lee County): Played for Head Coach Dean Fabrizio and directed the Trojan squad to a 4-6 record in 2011 ... Caught 25 passes for 391 yards ... Tallied four touchdowns on the year ... Also a starter for the Lee County basketball team.

TEVIN ROUNDTREE (LB, 6-0, 201, Madison, Fla./Madison County): Played for Head Coach Mike Coe ... Directed the Cowboys to a 13-2 record and a showing in the FHSA 3A state championship game ... Registered 78 tackles on the season, including eight sacks and 12 tackles for loss ... Intercepted one pass and forced four fumbles while recovering three ... Scored four touchdowns on defense ... Earned first team All-State honors ... Registered 56 tackles as a junior in 2010 ... Had eight tackles for loss and eight sacks ... Intercepted one pass and forced four fumbles while recovering two fumbles ... Scored two defensive touchdowns ... Also runs track for the Cowboys.

CALVIN SHENAULT (LB, 6-1, 194, Jonesboro, Ga./Jonesboro): Played for Head Coach De'Timothy Floyd and directed the Cardinals squad to a 10-2 record in 2011 ... Led a defense that recorded three shutouts on the season ... Helped the Cardinals to the first round of the GHSA AAAA playoffs.

JON-HENRY TOLBERT (WR, 6-0, 177, Norcross, Ga./Norcross): Played for Head Coach Keith Maloof and directed the Blue Devil squad to an 8-3 record in 2011 ... Caught 17 passes for 340 yards during his senior season ... Tallied two touchdown catches ... Top game came in the season opener against Dacula, during which he tallied four receptions for 84 yards ... Also carried the ball one time for eight yards ... Tallied three receptions and 71 yards in the regular season finale versus Mountain View ... Directed the Blue Devils to the first round of the GHSA AAAAA State playoffs and caught three passes for 47 yards in a loss to Dacula ... Also runs track for Norcross.

NICK UTLEY (WR, 6-2, 189, Tifton, Ga./Tift County): Played for Head Coach John Reid ... Led the Blue Devils to a 3-7 record in 2011 ... Set a Tift County record with 53 receptions as a senior, breaking the old mark of 51 set by former Blazer Darrien Teals in 1984 ... Tallied 821 receiving yards and six touchdowns ... Earned first team All-Region and was selected to play int he North vs. South and Georgia vs. Florida All-Star games ... Tallied 15 catches for 219 yards and a score on a 5-5 Blue Devil team in 2010 ... Also plays baseball for Tift County.

JAKE WALKER (K, 5-11, 163, Patterson, Ga./Pierce County): Played for Head Coach and former Blazer Sean Pender ... Led the Bears to an 8-3 record and a spot in the GHSA AA state playoffs in 2011 ... Set Pierce County reocrds for most field goals made in a season, most points in scored in a season, longest field goal in a game and most field goals of more than 40 yards ... Earned All-Region honors as a sophomore, junior and senior ... Also starred for the Pierce County soccer team and was named the Region Player of the Year in 2010.

LORENZO WASHINGTON (FS, 5-11, 201, Ocala, Fla./Trinity Catholic): Played for Head Coach John Brantley ... Led the Celtics to a 7-5 record and a spot in the state semifinals in 2011 ... Tallied 79 tqckles and had five interceptions ... Scored four touchdowns on defense ... Also combined to return four punts and kickoffs for touchdowns ... Earned All-State honors ... Directed Trinity Catholic to a perfect 14-0 mark and the Florida 3A state championship in 2010 ... Recorded 82 tackles on the year, including five for loss ... Intercepted three passes.

SHARMAINE WASHINGTON (LB, 6-2, 230, Moultrie, Ga./Colquitt County): Played for Head Coach Rush Propst ... Led the Packers to an 11-3 record and a spot in the GHSA AAAAA semifinals ... Tallied 150 tackles on the season ... Also played fullback and carried the ball 31 times for 136 yards ... Scored nine touchdowns and had 56 total points, second-best on the Colquitt County team ... Earned All-Region honors and was honorable mention All-State ... Also plays basketball and earned All-State honors in that sport in Alabama in 2010 before moving to Moultrie.

MCKINLEY WELDON (OL, 6-5, 292, Auburn, Ala./Auburn): Started each of the last two seasons for Head Coach Tim Carter ... Led the Tigers to an 8-2 record and the first round of the AHSAA 6A state playoffs in 2011 ... Helped Auburn High to a 12-1 mark and a state playoff showing in 2010.

DALTON WETHERINGTON (OL, 6-1, 263, Lincolnton, Ga./Lincoln County): Played for Head Coach Larry Campbell ... Led the Red Devils to a 12-1 mark and the GHSA A quarterfinals in 2011 ... Graded out as the top offensive lineman in all 13 games ... Also guided Lincoln County to the state quarterfinals and a 10-3 mark in 2010 ... Earned first team All-State as both a junior and senior.

KELDRICK WILLIAMS (LB, 6-2, 226, Greenville, Fla./Madison County): Played for Head Coach Mike Coe ... Played for Head Coach Mike Coe ... Directed the Cowboys to a 13-2 record and a showing in the FHSA 3A state championship game ... Tallied 72 tackles on the year, including 27 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks ... Was named first team All-State ... Recorded 56 tackles as a junior in 2010 ... Counted 12 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks among his stats ... A three-year starter who tallied 21.5 career sacks.

THOMAS WRIGHT (RB/LB, 5-11, 192, Leesburg, Ga./Lee County): Played for Head Coach Dean Fabrizio and directed the Trojan squad to a 4-6 record in 2011 ... Recorded 112 tackles and 18 tackles for loss ... Also tallied five touchdowns and six two-point conversions as a short yardage running back ... Played in six games as a junior and finished with 79 tackles and 10 tackles for loss ... Had 105 tackles, including six for loss, as a sophomore ... Won the Region 1AAAA weightlifting championship as a junior with a power clean lift of 335 pounds.
