Xavier Blunt (DE, 6-2, 255, New Orleans, La./American River College): Played for Head Coach Jerry Hatlich and a Beavers team that went 8-3 while advancing to the championship game of the California Community College Athletic Association Northern Division Championship game ... Had 12 tackles, including 2.5 for loss and one sack, despite missing much of the year due to injury ... Had 20 tackles, including 3.5 for loss and 1.5 sacks, for a Beavers team that went 11-0 in 2011.

Nick Burgman (RB, 5-8, 175, Valdosta, Ga./Lowndes): Played for Head Coach Randy McPherson and a Vikings team that went 9-2 while advancing to the GHSA Class AAAAAA Playoffs ... Rushed for 807 yards and nine touchdowns ... Caught 10 passes for 188 yards and two more scores ... Returned three punts for a total of 58 yards and one score ... Also returned five kickoffs for 102 yards.

Bryce Coroi (TE, 6-1, 220, Columbus, Ga./Etowah): Played for Head Coach Dave Svehla and led the Eagles to a 4-6 record ... Caught 13 passes for 226 yards and seven touchdowns, which set a new school record ... Was name first team All-Region ... Also plays basketball for the Eagles.

Nick Davis (RB, 6-0, 185, Bolingbroke, Ga./Mary Persons): Played for Head Coach Brian Nelson and a Bulldog team that went 10-3 in 2012 ... Led Mary Persons to the quarterfinals of the GHSA Class AAAA Playoffs ... Ran for 1,500 yards and 10 touchdowns ... Also caught six passes for 68 yards and returned two kickoffs for 103 yards and a score ... Earned first team All-Region and All-Middle Georgia honors ... Also runs track for the Bulldogs and finished fourth in the 100 meters at the state championship meet in 2012.

Nadarrius Eckers (DT, 6-1, 295, Snellville, Ga./South Gwinnett): Played for Head Coach John Small on a comet team that went 9-3 and advanced to the semifinals of the GHSA Class AAAAAA State Playoffs ... Tallied 26 tackles on the year, including a sack ... Forced one fumble.

Micah Finley (LB, 5-11, 215, Lilburn, Ga./Parkview): Played for Head Coach Cecil Flowe and a Panther team that went 9-4 and advanced to the quarterfinals of the GHSA Class AAAAAA State Playoffs ... Recorded 59 tackles on the year, including 42 solo stops ... Had 12 tackles for loss and three sacks ... Registered nine quarterback hurries ... Recovered one fumble and forced two.

Alphonso Footman (ATH, 5-11, 185, Monticello, Fla./Jefferson County): Directed the Tigers to a 3-8 record in 2012 ... Played both wide receiver and defensive back ... An early enrollee at Valdosta State.

Loren (L.J.) Gainey (WR, 5-10, 180, Snellville, Ga./South Gwinnett): Played for Head Coach John Small on a Comet team that went 9-3 in 2012 ... Helped South Gwinnett to the semifinals of the GHSA Class AAAAAA State Playoffs ... Caught 50 passes for 673 yards and seven touchdowns ... Was named second team All-Gwinnett County ... On his career, caught 121 passes for 1,408 yards and 13 touchdowns ... Also rank track for South Gwinnett.

Jordan Germany (RB, 6-0, 205, Decatur, Ga./Grayson): Played for Head Coach Mickey Conn and a Rams' team that went 10-2 and advanced to the Round of 16 of the GHSA Class AAAAAA State Playoffs ... Averaged more than eight yards per carry and had 15 touchdowns on the season ... Scored a school record five touchdowns Was also a member of Grayson's 2011 Class AAAAAA State Championship team that went 15-0 ... Also plays basketball and runs track for Grayson.

John Gray (LB, 6-0, 230, Moultrie, Ga./Colquitt County): Played for Head Coach Rush Propst and a Packer team that went 10-4 and advanced to the semifinals of the GHSA Class AAAAAA State Playoffs ... Tallied 163 tackles on the year, including 67 solos and 96 assists ... Had four tackles for loss and two sacks ... Caused one fumble and had a quarterback hurry ... On his career, played in 57 games and started 43 ... Had 365 career tackles ... Earned first team All-Region honors in 2012.

Tekais (TK) Grisby (FS, 6-0, 180, Richmond Hill, Ga. Richmond Hill): Played for Head Coach Lyman Guy and a Wildcat team that went 8-3, the best record in school history ... Led Richmond Hill to the GHSA Class AAAAA State Playoffs ... Had 18 tackles, including 11 stops, on the year ... Also intercepted one pass ... Garnered GHSA Region 3 AAAA First Team All-Region honors while also earning All-County.
Darron (DJ) Hudson (DT, 6-1, 280, LaGrange, Ga./LaGrange): Played for Head Coach Donnie Branch ... Directed the Granger squad to a 6-6 record and a spot in the GHSA Class AAAA Playoffs ... Tallied 80 tackles, including 10 sacks and 10 tackles for loss on the season ... Had 106 tackles, including seven sacks and 10 for loss, as a junior in 2011 ... Also competes in track and field and was the region champion in shot put last year.

Russell King (WR, 5-10, 180, Suwanee, Ga./North Gwinnett): Played for Head Coach Bob Sphire and a Bulldog team that went 11-2 and advanced to the quarterfinals of the GHSA Class AAAAAA Playoffs ... Caught 32 passes for 320 yards and three touchdowns ... Played in the Gwinnett County All-Star game and was named honorable mention All-Gwinnett County ... Caught 28 passes for 292 yards and a score as a junior ... Also ran track for the Bulldogs.

Ahmon Lott (CB, 5-9, 170, Jacksonville, Fla./Raines): Led the Vikings to an 8-3 record ... Tallied 26 tackles, including 14 solos and 12 assists ... Intercepted two passes and broke up four more ... Recovered one fumble.

Trenton Pruett (DE, 6-1, 210, Kennesaw, Ga./North Cobb): Played for Head Caoch Shane Queen and a Warriors team that went 11-3 and advanced to the semifinals of the GHSA Class AAAAAA State Playoffs ... Tallied 20 tackles, including three sacks .. Forced one fumble and recovered two, returning one for a touchdown ... Had 12 tackles, including a sack, for a team that went 5-6 and advanced to the first round of the GHSA Class AAAAAA playoffs.

Cory Schaeffer (WR, 5-10, 170, Lawrenceville, Ga./Grayson): Led Mickey Conn's Ram team to a 10-2 record and the Round of 16 in the GHSA Class AAAAAA State Playoffs ... Earned Honorable Mention All-County ... Also starred for a Ram team that went a perfect 15-0 and won the 2011 GHSA Class AAAAAA State Championship.

Alex Stephenson (QB, 6-1, 205, Valdosta, Ga./Lowndes): Played for Head Coach Randy McPherson and a Vikings team that went 9-2 while advancing to the GHSA Class AAAAAA Playoffs ... Completed 27-of-47 passes for 482 yards and four touchdowns ... Also rushed for one score.

Dillon Veal (WR, 5-11, 185, Blackshear, Ga./Pierce County): Played for Head Coach and former Valdosta State standout Sean Pender ... Led the Bears squad to a 10-2 record and the second round of the GHSA Class AAA Playoffs ... Caught 55 passes for 875 yards and 11 touchdowns, all new school records ... Also punted and averaged 43 yards per punt ... Earned All-State honors and was the Region's Special Teams Player of the Year ... Also plays soccer for the Bears.

Dexter Wicker (DE, 6-1, 245, Jacksonville, Fla./Raines): Tallied 48 tackles for the Vikings ... Led Raines to an 8-3 record.

Brent Wildes (LS, 6-0, 205, Folkston, Ga./Charlton County): Played for Head Coach Richard McWhorter and an Indians team that went 5-6 and advanced to the GHSA Class A State Playoffs in 2012 ... Had 85 tackles, including two sacks and 18 tackles for loss ... Earned All-Region linebacker honors in 2010, 2011 and 2012 .. Had 55 tackles in 2011 and 50 in 2010 ... Also wrestles for the Indians.

Mitchell Woodard (OL, 6-5, 315, Hoboken, Ga./Brantley County): Played for Head Coach Mark Walker ... Played both offensive and defensive line ... Recorded 58 tackles, including five sacks for the Herons ... Had 61 tackles, including six sacks, in 2011.
