Since Friday, Jimmie Donaldson Jr.'s family has been waiting at the dock of Lake Talquin.

Monday, search teams still hadn't found the 34-year-old, but his family was already accepting the fact that he could be gone for good.

"We're all going to miss him," said his father, Jimmie Donaldson.

Jimmie Donaldson saw his son just before he went missing. His son, took off with Donaldson's brother to fish in a different part of Lake Talquin.

The last glimpse Donaldson had of his son, was when he curved that bend Friday.

"The water got up and by the time they went to pick up it was too late," continued Donaldson.

The boat the 34-year-old and his uncle were in, capsized. His uncle made it out. They've been searching for Donaldson Jr. ever since.

Donaldson sighed heavily during the interview before saying, "He could swim a little bit, but I don't think he made it out."

Monday, a cadaver dog and helicopter joined the dive team in the search.

These past few days have also been hard on the fishing community which has been Donaldson's extended family for years.

Neighbors have begun to stand vigil with the family, offering food, support, whatever they may need.

Sarah Johnson fishes regularly and has seen the Donaldsons fish on Lake Talquin for years.

Her home sits along the lake where Donaldson Jr. was last seen.

"I can cry with them, I can pray with them and all of the neighbors do here," said Johnson. Hug them when they need a hug."

Monday, Donaldson Sr, hit the water again, but this time to look for the son who would normally be with him.

The Florida Wildlife Commission has stated that it recovered the boat Saturday evening. However, Donaldson is still missing.

Donaldson's uncle, Claude Jackson, had been transported to the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital where he was treated for hypothermia and released.

Crews are still searching for Donaldson.

The search is still underway for a Quincy man whose boat capsized in Lake Talquin Friday night.

"If he wasn't working he was either fishing or hunting, pretty much that's what he was doing tonight. It was one of his favorite past times,"says fiancee Candace Sylvia.

Taking to the water was something 34-year-old Jimmie Donaldson Jr., an avid outdoors man and family man, did on a regular basis.

"He's an outgoing, fun guy to be around. Enjoys fishing. Enjoys spending time with his family," says his sister
Shynetra Jackson.

As he did most days, Donaldson and his uncle Claude Jackson went out fishing on Lake Talquin Friday evening. The Florida Wildlife Commission says the two men were pulling up their anchor, when the boat began to take on water.

"Their boat capsized and they found my uncle, but they didn't find my brother," says Jackson.

Rescue crews combed the lake for several hours, searching for Donaldson.

The FWC says, Jackson was wearing his life-jacket but Donaldson wasn't. The Leon County Dive Team, Gadsden County Sheriff's Office all assisted the FWC in the search for Donaldson, whom family and friends say was well-liked throughout the community.

"He's well known, he's well loved by his aunts and uncles and especially me," says Sylvia.
