Matt Galka joined the WCTV team in December 2011 as a reporter.
Matt Galka comes to us from the lovely state of Connecticut. Matt spent his undergraduate career at Syracuse University, where he majored in English. Matt was a proud member of the Syracuse Football team, where he was able to root for his favorite team both on and off the field. Upon graduation, Matt returned to Connecticut where he earned his graduate degree in Journalism from Quinnipiac University. After spending his post graduate years working for NBC Connecticut as a sports producer, Matt decided to take his talent and passion on camera.
Matt ‘s favorite things include sports, food, and hitting the gym. Although he may have moved south, his love for the Green Bay Packers and New York Yankees still remains.
