Andy Alcock Co-Anchors WCTV Eyewitness News at 6
Andy Alcock was born and raised in the suburban Chicago area. Including college, Florida is now the 8th state in which he's lived.
His television career started at a station in southern Illinois. Other stops included Mississippi, the U.S. territory of Guam, Chicago, Nashville and Louisville.
Andy earned a bachelor’s degree in politics from Wake Forest and belongs to the Deacon Club, boosters for the athletic program.
He has a master’s degree in journalism from Indiana University. In between undergraduate and graduate schools, Andy worked on Capitol Hill, mostly for the U.S. Senate Commerce Committee. He's a rabid sports fan who’s hopelessly, passionately and unconditionally in love with the Chicago National League Ball Club…In addition to the Cubs, he loves the Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks, Deacs and Hoosiers.
Andy likes to ride his bike, Rollerblade, swim, play tennis and attend sporting events.
Andy has been married to wife, Sarah, since 2005. The joy of their lives, their son Gordon, was born in 2007.
The Alcocks also have a dog, Sammy.
