Kara Duffy joined the Eyewitness News Team in June 2012 as a reporter, bringing you the latest news out of Tallahassee, FL and Thomasville, GA. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Kara graduated from Towson University with a degree in mass communication and journalism.

She first got her start at WBAL-TV in Baltimore, where she worked her way up from intern to associate producer. During her time there, she also worked closely with the web team, as well as assisted with special investigative projects.

Kara is a member of Towson University's chapter of The Society Of Professional Journalists and the Lambda Pi Eta National Honor Society for Communication. She enjoys traveling, relaxing with family and friends, and trying new restaurants! Kara is excited to be down south and cannot wait to explore the town!
