Elton came to WCTV in 2005. He is a graduate of Florida A&M and previously worked at Metro Sports for Time Warner Cable in Kansas City, Missouri. While at WCTV, he's covered everything from Super Bowl XLIII to the Daytona 500.

Elton is currently the Sports Director/Anchor weekdays on Live At 5pm News, Eyewitness News at 5:30pm, Eyewitness News at 6pm and Eyewitness News at 11pm.

His talent at WCTV has garnered recognition from the Florida Associated Press Broadcasters (Best Breaking Sports News Coverage, 2009; Best Sportscast, 2009) as well as from the Georgia Associated Press Broadcasters (Best Sports Feature Program, 2009).

He enjoys golf, basketball, and traveling. Elton is making his own mark in television following in the famous footsteps of other members of his family, Bryant and Greg Gumbel.
