Sam joined the Eyewitness Sports team in July of 2008. He is a graduate of Florida State University. While at FSU Sam worked on The Bobby Bowden Show, The Mike Martin Show and with Seminole Productions.

He is an avid sports fan and cheers on the Tampa Bay Rays. One of his former baseball coaches was Hall of Famer Wade Boggs.
