Alex Yoder joined the Eyewitness News Team in September 2012 as a forecaster and producer.

Prior to joining WCTV, Alex worked as a forecaster and reporter at SNN Local News in his hometown of Sarasota, FL. Alex has also been heavily involved with FSU Weather, a student produced television program from the Meteorology department at Florida State University.

Alex is an active member of the national and local chapter of the American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association.

In his spare time, Alex enjoys traveling to new places, catching up on the latest news and watching television. He particularly enjoys watching college football and hockey, while rooting for the Florida State Seminoles and the Tampa Bay Lightning.
