Mr. Energy and Excitement joined Eyewitness News in the fall of 2000 as a meteorologist. He made an immediate impact with his enthusiasm first thing in the morning.

A native of Long Island, New York, Rob's dad is a retired NYC firefighter. He has degrees from State University of New York at Buffalo and Syracuse University, plus a three-year certificate in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. He loves hockey, especially the Islanders and has become a golf fanatic.

Rob Nucatola has the seals of approval of the American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association.
