The Alzheimer’s Project, Inc. would like to inform the Hispanic/Latino community about the services we offer. Our mission is to help caregivers by providing support groups, day respite care programs for their love ones who may be affected by any form of dementia (Alzheimer’s disease, Lewy Body Disease, Parkinson’s disease, etc.). We also provide counseling services, case management, Project Life Saver, Volunteer training, Annual conferences, Annual caregiver celebration day, Alzheimer’s disease Resource Manual, and Powerful Tools for Caregivers (teaching caregivers to care for themselves while taking care of their love ones).The Spanish speaking support groups will meet on regular basis the 4th Wednesday of every month from 12:30pm to 1:30pm Our FIRST SPANISH SUPPORT GROUP for caregivers will take place at Good Shepherd Catholic Church on May 29, from 12:00 noon until 1:30pm. All our services are provided FREE OF CHARGE.
