Opening of the 32nd Annual Capital City Quilt Show

Join the Museum of Florida History for the opening of the 32nd Annual Capital City Quilt Show. This year’s show is titled “Road to Florida.” The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with a ribbon cutting and remarks by Museum Director, Dr. Jeana Brunson and the president of Quilters Unlimited of Tallahassee, Dorothy Barr. Hors d’oeuvres are provided by the members of the Guild. The featured speaker is Dr. Charlotte Williams, author of Florida Quilts and long-time member of Quilters Unlimited of Tallahassee. Dr. Williams speaks on the history of quilting in Florida.
