See the Museum after hours! 3rd Thursday offers a monthly opportunity to visit the Museum of Florida History in the evening. The program, music, and parking are free.
At 5:00 p.m., enjoy free live music by the Bill Peterson Trio. Up in Smoke caters dinner for $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers.
At 7:00 p.m., Dr. Jane Landers discusses “Africans as Discoverers and Settlers in La Florida” to illustrate the emergence of a blended and multiracial colonial society. Dr. Landers is an Associate professor of history and director of the Center for Latin American and Iberian Studies at Vanderbilt University.
