Announcing the Pathfinder's Quest, starting January 1st. Thirteen extraordinary instructors are teaching at From The Ashes Healing to support people starting 2017 off on the right foot. We start on January 1 with a "telesummit" - taped video interviews with several of the instructions - that runs from 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM which gives listeners a chance to hear from them about the work they do in the world and their offerings in January.

On January 2nd the in-person offerings start with "Vision. Plan. Action!" a workshops offering people the opportunity to make a vision board and put together a 12 month personal strategic plan.

Throughout the month there will be in person and online classes at various price points offering support in the 8 dimensions of wellness: emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, occupational, physical, social and spiritual. I hope you'll find there's a little something for everyone.

Tis the Season! Come celebrate with family and friends at The Centre of Tallahassee, November 25th, 2016 through February 26th, 2017. Check in frequently with our Facebook page to share your photos and keep up with live updates. Post your ice rink photo to our Facebook page or Instagram Account to spread the word about this fun family event!
• Each skating session is for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
• New sessions start on even-numbered hours with the last session starting at 8pm.
• Skate sizes range from a child’s size 9 to adult size 13.
Ice skating is located in the Brickyard (down Music Alley). Join us on Fridays from 4pm -10pm and Saturday/Sunday from 10am-10pm. *Dates and Times will vary. Book your sessions online at Ticketmaster.com or purchase your tickets at our box office. Tickets will be $12 with skates and $7 without. Sessions are set for 1 hour and 30 minutes and start on even number hours. Group rates are available for parties 10 or more. For additional questions, contact our box office at 850.999.6326.

Museum of Florida History presents the Guy LaBree: Painted Stories of the Seminoles exhibit

The Museum of Florida History presents the special exhibit Guy LaBree: Painted Stories of the Seminoles. The exhibit features original and reproduction paintings by Guy LaBree, often considered the foremost artist of Seminole-themed paintings. His artwork portrays Seminole lifestyles, legends, and history, as well as nature scenes.
Also on display are objects from LaBree's studio, such as his easel and the palette he used throughout his entire career. Other artifacts help to demonstrate a connection with the Seminoles that began in childhood when his schoolmates included Seminoles from a nearby reservation. This exhibit celebrates the life and art of Guy LaBree and his unique relationship with the Seminoles of Florida.

The Museum will offer several programs related to the exhibit:
October 8, 11:00 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.
2nd Saturday Family Programs
Patterns of the Seminoles -This activity will examine how patterns represent different ideas in the Seminole tradition.

October 20, 6:30- 8:00 p.m.
Evening Program Featuring Seminole Tribe of Florida Historian Willie Johns

November 17, 6:30- 8:00 p.m.
Elgin Jumper: A Seminole's Story a one-man-show, performed by artist Elgin Jumper.
