MoLab’s Spring Camp Spark – Igniting Knowledge!

MoLab, Inc., a not-for-profit organization, provides dynamic, hands-on, inquiry based science experiences through a mobile science laboratory that promotes discovery. Spring Camp Spark will offer students 5 years old through the 8th grade the opportunity to participate in art and science activities in a fun, interactive, and safe environment. Each daily session will present campers the opportunity to explore science through creative play and experimentation. The sessions present age appropriate curriculum and are designed to provide students with engaging educational activities that are both informative and entertaining.

DAILY THEMES
Monday, March 13: Mystery Inc. - Use your investigation skills to solve mysteries and crimes Scooby style! Gather evidence and apply science to identify weird substances, create eerie sounds, and experiment with different forms of energy.

Tuesday, March 14: Color Splash - Enjoy a colorfully creative day of hands-on fun with beautiful density experiments, trajectory paintings, colorful combinations, gobstopper color mixing, and more!

Wednesday, March 15: Food Experiments - Explore physics, chemistry, and anatomy by getting hands-on with food - some experiments you’ll get to eat and some you better not.

Thursday, March 16: Star Wars Science - Experience the science side of the force as you engineer an Ewok catapult, experiment with sound to create a Hans Solo blaster effect, concoct galactic goo, and save characters from carbonite!

Friday, March 17: Shamrock Science - It’s a St. Patrick’s Day themed camp of discovery! Participate in green experiments, plant a spud, meet live snakes from Carol’s Critters, create a rainbow, and learn to count the Gaelic way.

Monday, March 20: Spark Smorgasbord - Wrap up an awesome spring break with an exciting assortment of hands-on science experiments, investigations, and discoveries!

Camp Spark makes learning fun and links Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) concepts to the real-world.

Daily Camp fees are $45 per day, which includes lunch and 2 snacks. A discounted rate is available for multiple days and additional siblings. Extended Camp care is available starting at 7:45 a.m. for $5/day and until 6 p.m. for $5/day.
