The Village Square's Dinner at the Square: "You've Come a Long Way, Baby? The Politics of the Feminine."
Jan 15, 2013 5:30 to 7:30 pm
St. John's Episcopal Church, downtown
Is there a "War on Women"? Suzanne Venker (author of "The Flipside of Feminism" which she co-authored with her aunt Phyllis Schafly) thinks the war might actually be on men! She'll be joining the Village Square for a unique conversation on where women are almost 100 years after they gained the right to vote. Joining Suzanne - and no stranger to controversy herself - is Staci Fox, President & CEO of Planned Parenthood of North Florida and FAMU's Rosalind Fuse-Hall, who has years of experience leading young women to adulthood. The program is presented in cooperation with the Oasis Center for Women & Girls, and sponsored by Ziffer Stansberry Advertising and Public Relations, MedAffinity & Tallahassee Memorial Women's Pavilion.
