Join us on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at 7 P.M., as Claire Tindal, BAR Historic Conservator, presents “So You’ve Excavated Your First Object...Now What?” She will discuss a modern approach to the major principles of conservation that inform a conservator’s approach to treating an object. She will briefly outline several of the conservation challenges faced at the BAR Conservation Lab on a regular basis. The presentation will also include the restoration of the Battle of Natural Bridge Monument Eagle, and The Martin House Chandelier. PAST meetings are at the B. Calvin Jones Center for Archaeology at the Gov. Martin House, 1001 De Soto Park Dr., Tallahassee.
