Tropical Depression Forms In the Atlantic

Showers and thunderstorms associated with a low pressure area about 800 miles east-southeast of Bermuda have become better organized this afternoon. The National Hurricane Center says the system become the fifteenth tropical depression of the season with 35 mph maximum sustained winds.

The depression is not expected to strengthen and is not forecast to impact any land areas.
