Our area typically has lower pollution compared to major metropolitan areas, but ground-level ozone can be problematic for those who are sensitive to it. Scientists say poor air quality can lead to tens of thousands of premature deaths each year in the United States. For the first time ever, ozone forecasts are available for our area hour-by-hour.
