Are Males Simpler Than Females?

If you thought that men are simpler creatures than women, you are exactly right.

That's according to research published in "Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences". It says that males have fewer genetic obstacles, so they respond more quickly and easily to changes in their environment. Females appear to have more genetic interactions according to the report. Researchers hope this finding will explain why diseases show up differently in men and women. The study involved more than 8500 genes in fruitflies, which researchers say have a similar evolution to humans.
