Thunderstorms were responsible for wind damage this morning near the Miller/Seminole county line in Southwest Georgia. The Emergency Manager reports two roofs removed off of small farm sheds, 1 irrigation system flipped over, and three pecan trees downed by the storms. The heaviest damage is near Grady Cobb Road and Georgia Highway 91, and was estimated to have occurred around 10 AM based on doppler radar data.
The line of showers and occasional thunderstorms will continue eastward into the Suwannee River Valley into early this evening. The storms are capable of producing lightning, downpours, and brief gusty winds.
