The 2007 Hurricane Season just ended a few days ago, but a popular prognosticator has already issued his 2008 Hurricane Outlook.
Doctor William Gray of Colorado State University is calling for slightly above average activity next season. He expects 13 named storms, 7 hurricanes, and 3 major hurricanes. These numbers are a little above the long-term average of 10 named storms, 6 hurricanes, and 2 major hurricanes. The 2007 storm activity came in just a little less than Gray's team predicted earlier this summer.
