Our engineers and meteorologists are very hard at work configuring and optimizing our brand new weather system. You may have noticed some delays and/or disruptions in receiving the latest weather maps and forecasts from our web site in the last two days. Most of the critical data (such as the 5-Day Forecast, Marine Forecasts, Tides, and Radar and Satellite data) have been restored as of late Monday evening. There may still be things that are not quite right or that we did not catch. Please e-mail me with the specific problem and I'll try to get that addressed as soon as I can. As of 2:30 AM New Years Day, the Live Oak and Thomasville temperatures on one map are not updating properly because of missing data contours. We should have this fixed by Wednesday.
We will be optimizing our graphics presentation with our vendor next week (between January 7 and 11). That's when you'll start to see a lot of the functionality of our new weather system on-air. We will start adding requested web graphics later this month. You can also request those by e-mailing me. I still have the list and I will be getting to that soon, so hang in there!
Thanks for your patience and understanding. Happy New Year!
