There is a risk of severe thunderstorms on Wednesday
WCTV Meteorologists Ray Hawthorne and Rob Nucatola are watching a storm organizing over the Southern High Plains of Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma. The storm's associated cold front is forecast to reach our area Wednesday afternoon. Strong winds through a deep-layer of the atmosphere could support damaging winds as a squall line progresses across the area. While tornadoes are unlikely, one or two brief, weak ones cannot be completely ruled out.
