Record Rainfall at Tallahassee

When the clock struck midnight, Tallahassee Regional Airport received 4.99 inches of rain. This is a new rainfall record for February 21. The previous record was 3.90 inches in 1894.
Rain continued to fall past midnight, so the storm total (starting Thursday morning and ending early Friday morning) was 6.20 inches.
Additional rain is in the forecast Friday afternoon and evening.
