A Flood Watch is in effect through Saturday morning for the entire area except for the southeastern Big Bend.
After two days of heavy rains with totals of up to 6 inches in many areas, moderate rain continues to fall across South Georgia and the North Florida Big Bend. Several roads have been reported under water across the area. Remember, driving through water-covered roadways is extremely dangerous. Parts of the road may have washed away, and as little as two feet of water can float most vehicles.
