6.0 Earthquake Hits Philippines

A magnitude 6.0 earthquake hit near the Philippines just after 10 pm local time Thursday. The epicenter of the earthquake was located about 700 miles southeast of Manila or about 100 miles southeast of Davao.

According to GMANews in the Philppines, The earthquake was felt in General Santos City, Malita, Davao City, Makilala, and Tagum City.

No damage has been reported, and no tsunami warnings have been issued.
