PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Winter weather is expected to affect areas of northwest Oregon and southwest Washington.
The areas affected Friday through Saturday will be the coast and coastal mountains and the Cascade and Cascade Foothills — and the upper Hood River Valley.
And the northern Oregon and south Washington Cascades are also in the warning. Cities affected include Government Camp, Detroit, Santiam Pass, Oakridge and Mount St. Helens.
The winter storm warning remains in effect until noon Saturday.
Snowfall of 6 to 11 inches is expected Friday with 5 to 9 inches Friday night.
