ACAPULCO, Mexico (AP) -- Mexico's Interior Minister Miguel Angel Osorio Chong says at least 58 people are missing in a mountain village where many homes were buried by a landslide unleashed by a tropical storm.

Osorio Chong says rescue crews have evacuated 344 people from La Pintada village. He says many are hurt, at least one seriously.

He said Wednesday night another 45 will be flown out of the area Thursday.

He says there is still risk of more landslides in the coffee-growing village pounded by rains from Manuel, which is now a hurricane.
