Funnel Cloud in Tallahassee

Even though only a few thunderstorms managed to develop in the extreme heat, the ones that did form packed a punch.
A small storm formed over Tallahassee and a funnel lowered from the base of the cumulonimbus cloud just before 7 p.m. It did not touch down or cause any damage.
The photo of the narrow funnel is from Jim and Dawn Brewington, who live near I-10 and Old Bainbridge Road.
