Remember to stay cool, even if it requires drenching you and your friends. The heat rise will increase the risk of heat exhaustion and stroke.

Last year, Florida emergency centers treated 2,251 heat stroke related injuries.

The Florida Department of Health says there are several ways to stay cool and avoid injury.
