[UPDATE] Big Bend Power Outages

[UPDATE] 9-6 1:45pm -

According to the City of Tallahassee, there are still 41 utilities customers without power. Those without power are not localized in one area.


Tallahassee --

Power was knocked out for about 2,100 people in the Big Bend Area last night.

Talquin Electric sent about 90 percent of its operations workforce in an attempt to restore power. As of 6 AM, there are about 100 homes left without power. 30 are in the East Call Street area and the rest are scattered.

    I called the city outage number and stayed on the line 1 hour and 15 minutes and no one ever answered the phone to take my call. But yet, it is "our very own" city utility. They all should be fired. They can't trim the trees, cannot keep the power on.
