...AREAS OF DENSE FOG EXPECTED FROM TONIGHT THROUGH MID MORNING
WEDNESDAY ACROSS THE FLORIDA BIG BEND AND SOUTH CENTRAL GEORGIA...

.A MOIST...HUMID AIR MASS RETURNING NORTH INTO THE AREA...ALONG
WITH RELATIVELY LIGHT WINDS WILL LEAD TO FOG DEVELOPMENT TONIGHT.
WHILE PATCHY FOG WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE ENTIRE AREA...THE
MOST LIKELY LOCATION FOR DENSE FOG WOULD BE FROM THE APALACHICOLA
NATIONAL FOREST INTO THE REMAINDER OF THE FLORIDA BIG BEND AND
ADJACENT PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL GEORGIA. SOME SPOTS IN THAT
AREA WERE REPORTING LIGHT FOG IN THE EARLY TO MID EVENING...AND
THERE WAS ALSO WIDESPREAD LOW STRATUS WITH CLOUD BASES AROUND OR
BELOW 500 FEET. THE FOG WILL LIKELY SET IN AROUND OR AFTER
MIDNIGHT AND LAST UNTIL SEVERAL HOURS AFTER DAYBREAK. THE DENSE
FOG WITH VISIBILITY BELOW ONE QUARTER MILE MAY BE MORE LOCALIZED
WITHIN WIDESPREAD LIGHT FOG. THEREFORE...SOME SHARP FLUCTUATIONS
IN VISIBILITY WILL BE POSSIBLE.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TALLAHASSEE HAS ISSUED A DENSE
FOG ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM EST /8 AM CST/
WEDNESDAY.

* VISIBILITY...AROUND ONE QUARTER OF A MILE.

* TIMING...THE DENSE FOG WILL BE MOST LIKELY BETWEEN MIDNIGHT EST
AND 8 AM EST.

* IMPACTS...RESTRICTED VISIBILITIES MAY LEAD TO AREAS OF HAZARDOUS
DRIVING CONDITIONS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL FREQUENTLY BE
REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE QUARTER MILE. IF DRIVING...SLOW DOWN...
USE YOUR LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS...AND LEAVE PLENTY OF DISTANCE AHEAD
