FREEZE WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM LATE MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH
TUESDAY MORNING.

* EVENT...A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL PUSH THROUGH THE AREA TONIGHT
BRINGING A BLAST OF ARCTIC AIR. A HARD FREEZE IS EXPECTED
MONDAY NIGHT OVER INLAND AREAS WITH MINIMUM TEMPERATURES IN THE
MID 20S. BREEZY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL PRODUCE WINDS CHILLS IN THE
UPPER TEENS.

* TIMING...SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES CAN BE EXPECTED FROM MIDNIGHT
MONDAY NIGHT UNTIL 9 AM TUESDAY MORNING.

* IMPACT...COLD TEMPERATURES WILL LIKELY DAMAGE AND MAY KILL
CROPS AND OTHER SENSITIVE VEGETATION.

.A COLD FRONT WILL CROSS THE REGION THIS EVENING BRINGING A COOLER
AND DRIER AIRMASS FOR MONDAY. A SECONDARY ARCTIC COLD FRONT WILL
CROSS THE AREA MONDAY EVENING BRINGING A STRONG PUSH OF COLD AIR
IN ITS WAKE. TEMPERATURES WILL FALL ON NORTHWEST WINDS THROUGH THE
NIGHT...REACHING THE MIDDLE 20S INLAND AND UPPER 20S TO AROUND 30
AT THE IMMEDIATE COAST. TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN BELOW
FREEZING FOR AT LEAST SEVERAL HOURS...WITH SOME INLAND LOCATIONS
REMAINING BELOW FREEZING FOR MORE THAN 6 HOURS. IT IS POSSIBLE
THAT SOME LOCATIONS ACROSS THE NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE FORECAST
AREA WILL REMAIN BELOW FREEZING UNTIL LATE TUESDAY MORNING.
