It's gonna be a might chilly but not cold. Do any of you remember "The No'Name Hurricane?" Severe weather conditions can and do happen, even in Florida. Yes, blizzard in Florida...Thanx

@Steve, "a might chilly" is an understatement - do you work for the Chamber of Commerce? I too am a north Florida native and remember well the 1958 snow, 1963 ice storm, Christmas 1989 snow and ice. It was 19.5F,minus 6.9C at 6:30 this morning on my back porch in the Suwannee Valley. I call that COLD not chilly.

Are you talking about the 1993 "Storm of the Century"? I remember that one well. Awoke at 4:00 AM to trees falling around the house. Next morning was colder than hell, and we had snow but it didn't stick much. Not around here at least. I can remember seeing billboards down I-75 that were mounted on steel girders bent over at almost a 90 degree angle.

Oh yea, its colder here now but at least we are in the "warm part" of it. Roanoke Va. posted a record breaking low of 9F at their airport last night. The 4 county area has 1 -3 inches of snow on the ground.
